In this STEAM program for tweens, participants experiment, explore, and make connections to themes in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. In this month’s program, we will be joined by Laura Smith with the City of Durham Water Department to test water samples from around Durham's natural sources! We will meet in the MakerLab on 1st floor of Main Library. Registration is required.

*A special offering for this event: For parents/guardians, we are offering an adult program at the same time as this tween event with James Lim from the City of Durham Water Department for "Fix a Leak Week" with tips on monitoring your home for leaks and how to address common water issues. Please register for this concurrent adult program at https://durhamcountylibrary.libcal.com/event/10287727

If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact us at Maker_STEAM@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least 2 business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!
