Relax and read with a dog! This program brings dogs and reluctant readers together for 20 minutes of companionship. Handlers and their dogs provide quiet encouragement to children so that they might develop a love of reading and  improve communication skills. Canines for Literacy is an affiliate program of Reading Education Assistance Dogs® (R.E.A.D.®).

Registration is required. Please note that you may book one session per day and sessions are 20 minutes long. Available time slots are as follows: 2:00pm, 2:20 pm, 2:40pm. There are typically six slots available total (though this is subject to change as the dog teams are volunteers). Because of this, please only register the participant.

Please select the time slot you most prefer. Time slots will be determined by time of sign up. Your final time slot will be emailed to you the day before the program.

Bow Wow for now!
