Cybershield Security is providing a 100% free in-person, 1 hour cybersecurity training/education session specifically for Durham County small business owners, startup founders and nonprofit executive directors.

Our Co-founder & CEO, Torrence Reed, a 18+ year cybersecurity SME (Subject Matter Expert) and full stack developer with a plethora of experience advising various small businesses and startups, will lead this session.  The goal is to provide anecdotal stories and examples of businesses that have been proactive vs. reactive as it applies to cybersecurity while sharing free tools and ways to protect your small business, startup and nonprofit.  We think you'll be surprised by the number of small business owners, startups founders and nonprofit executive directors that haven't even initiated the free items within their operating systems to protect their organizations.  Keep in mind that you're only secure as your weakest link (employee, business process, partner, etc.).

During the training, all attendees will receive access to our free cyber workbook, free cyber tools and a free website scan with a detailed report upon request.

Cybershield Security:

  • Built a CSaaS (CyberSecurity-as-a-Service) software platform solely for the small business community

  • Full service cybersecurity consulting arm (SOC1/2, pentesting, vulnerability assessments, etc.)

  • Training (in-person, online modules, virtual & hybrid)

With our focus being small businesses, startups and nonprofits; it's paramount that we continuously educate this demographic of organizations to the many cyber pitfalls we're continuing to see across the marketplace.  Don't let inaction or a fear of cybersecurity put your business in a situation that you may not be able to get out of especially during Cybersecurity Awareness Month!
