Join us on the 1st floor of Main Library for a "Connection to Nature" themed event with The Scrap Exchange! Participants will use reused and recycled materials to create a piece of art that represents their favorite facets of our great big world and all the beauty within it.

What does nature represent to you? This could be your favorite view from a hike, animal, or a memory that sticks with you surrounding nature. The Scrap Exchange is all about reuse and reducing the amount of waste going into landfills, so the preservation of nature is incredibly important to us, and we want to use our recycled materials to show that art can truly be made out of anything!

If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact us at Maker_STEAM@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least 3 business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible.
