Meet one-on-one with volunteer law students and attorneys and learn about the process of changing your name and gender marker in North Carolina! During the clinic, volunteer attorneys and law students will be providing you with legal information about the name change process in North Carolina, help with putting together a plan for you to file for your own name change, and assistance with filling out the forms, if desired. Co-sponsored by the LGBTQ Center of Durham Name Change Navigation.
Registration encouraged but not required. Walk-ins welcome.

Please check in for your appointment on the 3rd floor of the Durham County Main Library in the Computer Lab. There will be staff and signage to help you. Please keep in mind that parking can sometimes be difficult at Main Library so give yourself extra time if you are traveling by car.
