Does your short story or novel bog down or feel incomplete? Thousands of years ago, storytellers in the Western world enriched their tales with a fascinating framework that we now call “the Hero’s Journey.” In this interactive workshop, award-winning historical mystery novelist Suzanne Adair guides participants through the twelve-stage journey. Learn the purpose for each stage, its challenges for a protagonist, and why omitting even one stage can sap the suspense from a manuscript. A handout will be provided at the end. Participants must bring writing materials.
*This is a two part series and participants must sign up both for this session and the session on 4/27/24 at 1:00 p.m.
