Howdy! Looking for a challenge this fall? Then be sure to participate in our supermurgitroid walking challenge, Get Your Kicks on Route 66! Although you won't be allowed to track miles spent in your chariot, it will be well-worth it!

How it works: Track the miles that you walk using the Get Your Kicks on Route 66 tracker. You can also skip, hop, ride a bike, swim, dance, ride a horse, or do jumping jacks...you can do any physical activity you want, just convert your exercise into miles.

For each challenge you complete, stop by South Regional for a sticker!

You only need to complete three of the challenges (it doesn't matter which ones) to be entered into the raffle, but if you complete all of them you get four entries into the raffle. Return your completed tracker to South Regional by December 7th. The raffle will be held on December 9th.

The prizes are:

  • 1st- Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 Instant Camera
  • 2nd-Igloo Retro 25 qt cooler
  • 3rd-Travel Fun- games and goodies

(Check back for updates!)

You can pick up printed trackers at the South Regional Library or you can request a printable PDF HERE. You can also find more information and a link to an activity conversion chart HERE! Questions? Contact Jessica at jllundin@dconc.gov.
