We're excited to partner with the University of North Carolina School of Nursing's young professionals to provide you with a Health Fair! UNC's SON students are actively engaging social determinants of health, health equity, community health planning and health promotion, within the context of their community. From 10am to 2pm UNC SON will be providing vital screenings including blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol. So stop by to have your vitals taken and pick-up educational handouts on cardiovascular health along the way! Walk-in Welcome throughout the day's activites pending space availability!

Timeline of Events:

• 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Fall Flu Vaccines with UNC Health Mobile Health.
• 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Vital Screenings 
  • El Centro Hispano, a local community organization with mission to strengthen and advance the Hispanic/Latino/Latinx community, fostering inclusivity and advocating for equity within North Carolina will be providing english to spanish translation during the event.

• 10:30 - 11:30 am, the Children's team at Durham County Main Library will be hosting a special Toddler Time from 10:30am - 11:00am with play time after (guardians must be present). 
• 11:30am - 12:30pm join Cooking with the Heart is a cooking demonstration hosted by Durham's Innovative Nutrition Education (DINE) in Conference Room #3214. DINE is a unique school and community-based nutrition education program that serves the people of Durham, NC through all stages of life. (Limited seats)
• 1:00pm - 2:00pm Get Ready for Your Next Doctor's Visit with UNC Health Sciences Library for a workshop advocating for yourself or a loved one's health in Conference Room #3214. (Limited seats)
