As the Halloween season approaches its apex of terror, the creatures of darkness once again crawl forth from lightless depths for the second annual incarnation of Morbid Tales: A Night of Horror and Heavy Metal. Join Durham County Library in the subterranean dungeon of Moon Dog Meadery for live readings from members of Horror Writers of America, followed by a plunge into sonic nightmare with Greensboro black metal monsters Paezor. This frightful journey through ghoulish realms of dread and ghastly terror is completely free and open to the public, however attendees must be advised it will feature adult content unsuitable for the faint of heart and entrance to the meadery's subterranean sepulchre will be first come, first serve. Moon Dog Meadery is located below the street at 1104 Broad St.
