This month in the Homeschool Learning Lab, we will celebrate art by exploring the life and work of artist Kimmy Cantrell. Cantrell, an African American artist, is known for his unique abstract masks that reflect his cultural heritage. Students will learn about his artistic journey and the stories his work tells. Afterward, they will create their own masks inspired by his style.
