All aboard and welcome to the train show! This exhibit is brought to us by Little WORLD Charity, a 100% volunteer effort. 
Watch as ten model trains travel through the State Fair, Winter Town, Spooky Town and more! The exhibit is open 10:00am - 4:00pm on the following dates:

- December 19
- December 20
- December 21
- December 23
- December 27
- December 28
You may have seen a smaller Little WORLD Charity display since they are in 21 locations across the NC Triangle. The purpose of this 100% volunteer effort is to bring joy to kids needing medical care and to encourage literacy. Coincidentally, the first of these locations was the Durham Main Library in 2014; you will find the current display just outside the train exhibit room. The huge train display is a new offshoot that was inspired by some large train collection donations. There has been a lot of work done (e.g. making the custom made tables, building and wiring the layouts) and there is a lot more to do in installing and decorating the display, running it, and dismantling and storing. The Charity needs several more volunteers for this December, and hopefully for making this display a beloved annual event.
