Zen gardens are a special kind of garden that help people feel calm and peaceful. They started in Japan a long time ago and were used by monks to meditate and think deeply. A Zen garden has simple things like sand, rocks, and sometimes plants, but each part has a special meaning. Create your own zen garden in Homeschool Learning Lab.
