More detailed class description:
Home Fundamentals helps you understand the systems that provide comfort and safety in a home, structural, plumbing and electrical. You'll learn technique, terminology and materials used to build each system.
- Structural explores foundations, framing, roofs, structural load, drywall and lots more.
- Pluming examines rural water/waste vs. city water/waste as well as the materials and fixtures that supply water and remove waste from the home.
- Electrical sheds light on how power is brought to and distributed throughout a home, from panels and sub-panels to circuits, breakers, receptacles and appliances.
