To all youths ages 7-11 years and their caregivers: join Ms. Natalie to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)! Every first Thursday of the month, we will discuss a different STEAM topic and further our learning with a hands-on activity or craft.
May is National Strawberry Month, and to celebrate the occasion, we will learn about DNA and extract DNA from fresh strawberries using dish soap, rubbing alcohol, salt, and water! Everyone will receive a decorative pin at the end of the program to celebrate their successful strawberry DNA extractions.
Registration is required.
If you have any questions, please contact us @ 919-560-8592.
