Celebrate Black History Month with a STEM activity inspired by Dr. Mae Jemison, the first Black woman in space. (She will not be in attendance.) We’ll start with a storytime to learn more about her inspiring journey and contributions to science. Then, launch into fun by creating and testing our own straw rocket launchers! All materials will be provided for an out-of-this-world experience. Best for kids ages 4+.
