Join us as we learn to use Great Courses by following along with the How to Play the Ukulele class. We will learn how to access Great Courses and sign up for the lesson so that participants may rewatch a lesson from home, if they want to.
On Feb 26, we will watch lessons 1 through 4, to learn about the ukulele, several new chords, and some strumming techniques.
On March 6, we will watch lessons 5 through 8, where we will learn the C and G scales.
On March 12, we will watch lessons 9 through 13 to learn fingerpicking patterns, and the D major scale and chords.
On March 19, we will watch lessons 14 through 18, where we learn about time signatures and minor keys.
On March 26, we will finish up class with lessons 19 through 24. We will learn about other styles of playing and finish with a doozy of a song!
If you own a ukulele, you are welcome to bring it, but some will be made available too. Registration is required.
