Zen gardens are a special kind of garden that help people feel calm and peaceful. They started in Japan a long time ago and were used by monks to meditate and think deeply. A Zen garden has simple things like sand, rocks, and sometimes plants, but each part has a special meaning. Create your own zen garden in Virtual Homeschool Learning Lab.
Vitual Homeschool Learning Lab meets weekly on Mondays via Zoom. A supply kit is required for this program. If you are interested in attending VHLL, please reach out to Molly at mschaefer@dconc.gov for a supply kit and additional information.
