Book Nerds Unite! Join us as we countdown the start of our 48-hour Read-a-thon! This is an exclusive, after-hours event just for adults. This is for those who are still chasing the thrill of the Scholastic Book Fair. We will have activities and events on our main and lower levels, including:
- Countdown to Read-a-thon and mini-challenges
- The Poetry Fox
- Live poetry readings*
- Crafts
- STEAM Technology including VR headsets, Ozo Bots, and more
Friends of the Durham Library will be onsite giving away books. Mocktails will be provided by Melanated Wine and Spirits.
*Participants are welcome to bring a poem or short story they would like to read to the group.
This event is open to those age 21 and up. Registration is required.
