The Vinyl Vault Club at the library is a cozy and engaging meetup where music lovers gather to share their favorite vinyl records. Guests are invited to bring a record from their collection, introduce it, and talk about why it's meaningful to them.

It's a space to discover new music, appreciate classic sounds, and connect with fellow vinyl enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just getting into records, the Vinyl Vault Club offers a unique way to explore music and share stories behind the songs.

This week is our Bull City Stories week where we will be exploring the film industry through storytelling, so the Vinyl Vault is celebrating by showcasing our favorite movie soundtracks on vinyl.

We are also pleased to have a special guest for this meet up!

Hailing from Garysburg, North Carolina, Chad Evans, also known as Drozart, sound is a unique blend of classical theory infused with modern elements of jazz, hip-hop, sampling, and vibrant rhythmic vibrations. A proud graduate of North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), Drozart has built his career on merging musical worlds with creativity and intention. He is the producer and film scorer of ESPN’s Why Not Us: North Carolina Central University Men’s Basketball (Season One) and the creator of the theme song used throughout all seasons of the series. Currently, Drozart serves as a middle school music teacher, piano instructor, and active producer, where he continues to inspire the next generation of musicians through education and his distinct musical artistry.
