Are you a comics fan interested in taking your understanding of sequential art to the next level? Join Tea Founger for an exploration of the history and cultural impact of comics (and other sequential art). She’ll also cover the anatomy of a comic strip, the different forms comics can take, and the specialized vocabulary used to discuss comics.

Tea Fougner (she/they) is a seasoned comics editor who has worked as a developmental and story editor in a variety of genres, from humor (Popeye, Rhymes With Orange) to action-adventure (The Phantom, Mark Trail), science fiction and fantasy (Flash Gordon), and drama and romance (Mary Worth). With over fifteen years of professional comics work under her belt and projects featured in publications like The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Business Insider, she speaks comics as if it were her native language.
