Gardeners often create habitats for wild animals and pollinator pals, but did you know that you can also create pet-friendly habitat? In this program, we'll research the dietary needs of common pets and identify some fruits and vegetables to incorporate into garden spaces for your favorite companions. Participants will be able to take seeds home to get their pet-friendly garden started. Not a pet owner? No worries! This program is also great for general animal lovers who enjoy learning. There are so many ways to show how much we love our pet friends!
This program is geared towards children ages 8+, but caregivers are welcome to join us. Registration is required. If you have any questions, please email Kristen at kstockdale@dconc.gov.
