Intrigued by the idea of backyard chickens? Ever wonder about raising chickens of your own for eggs or as pets?
Join Alex, a Durham/Orange County Cooperative Extension agent, for an introduction to backyard poultry. This program is an opportunity for first-time poultry owners to learn about housing, feed, and other topics to help make their experience enjoyable and successful. This program is mainly lecture with presentation plus Q&A and discussion.
