Bunny Builders: A Teen Building Challange 
Ages 11–14 & 15–17 
MakerLab | A Summer Reading Program June 2025 

Are you ready to design the ultimate bunny hangout? In this 4-part build-off, teens will compete to create the coolest cardboard castles, cozy boats, or wild rabbit wonderlands, whatever a bunny could dream of! 

We’ll provide all the building supplies, you bring the creativity. The contest wraps up with a judging event where real judgy rabbits will decide which team made the most paws-itively perfect playground. 

Parent/guardian waivers will be required due to the use of cutting tools like box cutters and X-Acto knives.

🐇 Part 1 – Meet the Rabbits!

Get insider tips from Triangle Rabbits, who’ll share what makes bunnies tick—and what they love in a play space. 

📦 Part 2 – Let the Building Begin! 
Monday, June 9 | 5:00PM | MakerLab 
Start sketching, cutting, and creating your rabbit dream house. 

🛠️ Part 3 – Construction Continues 
Monday, June 16 | 3:30PM | MakerLab 
Keep crafting your bunny masterpiece. 

🏆 Part 4 – Final Builds & Judging 
Friday, June 21 | 3:30PM | Makerlab 
Finish your playground and present it to the judges. Prizes and bunny bragging rights await!
