Love books and reading? Love your library? Love miniatures?
Drop in between 5:30-7 p.m. to craft miniature books and bookcases out of recycled materials! Store your miniature books in a miniature bookcase!
Customize your books and bookcases to reflect you!
Supplies are provided but feel free to bring your own Altoids tin, decorative paper, miniature objects, stickers, and anything else you would like to use or add to your miniature books and bookcase!
Bookcases will be made with reused Altoid tins with dimensions of 3.75inches long, 2.375 inches wide, and 0.75 inches deep.
The program is appropriate for adults and juveniles of all ages with an adult guardian present.
Drop in between 5:30 p.m. through 7 p.m. on October 8th for an open crafting session in the MakerLab located on the first floor of the Durham County Main Library. Volunteers will be on hand for assistance with the construction of the mini books and bookcases.
Registration is required to ensure there are enough crafting supplies available for participants. Please cancel your registration if you are unable to attend so that those on the waitlist may attend.
