NIC CAGE! 

A film career that has spanned decades and genres, blockbusters and direct to video, Nic Cage is a force unto himself. 

Incomparable practicing his own style of method acting which he calls Nouveau shamanism he transcends acting conventions. 

The only actor meta enough to have played himself. The only actor to have become an internet meme. The only actor to have a library film discussion group devoted to him.  

 

Each month we will discuss a different film from Nic Cage’s long and productive film career. 

Films cover early career classics like Valley Girl to later performances like Dream Scenario. Please see the film schedule listed below.

First Tuesday of the month, excluding April, starting at 6 pm in the Children's Programming Room on the second floor of the Durham County Main Library located at 300 North Roxboro Street.  

*January's Discussion Group will be in the Main Library Auditorium 

Parking is available in the library parking lot or the North Queen Street Garage located at 115 North Queen Street which is located directly across the street from the library behind the apartments. Parking in the garage is free. Please bring your parking ticket to a service point for validation.
