FALL NATIVE PLANT SWAP!

Join multiple community partners for a fall community native plant swap! With a special focus on native plants, bring your native perennials, saplings, shrubs, bulbs, and seeds to swap and share with other local gardeners interested in native plants! Non native plants that are not invasive are ok too! Have all your gardening questions answered by Durham County Extension Master Gardeners! Join community partners Driver Street Nursery and the North Carolina Native Plant Society to learn about native plants in Durham and how to successfully grow them in your garden to support biodiversity in Durham! Check out the Digging Durham Seed Library resources and seeds! Fall is a great time to plant to get a head start on next year’s native plant garden!

The swap will be held between 2-4 p.m. at the Main Library located at 300 North Roxboro Street at the front porch and main entrance to the library located off the upper parking lot.

Please bring your own boxes or bags for transporting plants. A marker, painters tape or tags, and small bags or envelopes are also helpful at plant swaps.
