Join acclaimed musician, songwriter, and writer Phonte Coleman for a special reading session at the Durham County Library as part of Missy Lane’s Block Party. Best known as a member of the pioneering hip-hop group Little Brother and the Grammy-nominated ensemble The Foreign Exchange, Phonte has also written for PBS and Sesame Street, bringing stories and music to life for young audiences. In this session, Phonte blends his talents as a performer and storyteller to create an engaging storytime experience that sparks imagination, encourages a love of reading, and celebrates the joy of music and learning.
