Want to learn more about math? Here's a great place to start! Join us for a Mathical Storytime with Dilip Barman, founder of the Mathematics Institute of the Triangle!
Dilip will be reading "Friend of Numbers", a biography written by Priya Narayanan about the inspiring story of mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan! Ramanujan was a groundbreaking mathematician from Southern India who overcame all odds to become a Cambridge graduate and advance mathematics far beyond expectation. His story encourages all to persevere and never stop being curious! "Friends of Numbers" won the Mathical Book Prize in 2024 for "encouraging the independent pursuit of the joy, beauty, and power of mathematics in the world around us".
After the story, Dilip will walk us through a math problem together!
Please register to secure your spot! Recommended for Ages 6-10.
