Read-alouds are for grown-ups too! Join us for a weekday evening adult story time at the North Regional Library. Flop on the carpet with a floor pillow, pull up a chair, or sit at a table if you want to bring your own dinner or snacks. Spend an hour listening to read-alouds from books and stories in the library collection. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate will be provided.
This month: Stories in the style of Kafka.
What happens when some of the most original literary minds of today take an idea, a mood, or a line from the work of Kafka and use it to spark something new? From the anthology, a cage went in search of a bird, we'll read stories by Elif Batuman and Yiyun Li.
Registration is appreciated but not required.
