Join our Graphic Novel Club.  Every month we will look at two Graphic Novels and talk about what we liked and didn't like about them.  Register and pick up a club kit from Stanford L. Warren and draw your favorite scene, or sketch out a new scene.  Make yourself the author and show off your skills or work on some new skills.

One of our September books is MOONGIRL AND THE DEVIN DINOSAUR Vol 1. by Brandon Montclare. "Lunella Lafayette is an inhuman preteen genius who wants to change the world! THAT JOB would be a lot easier if she wasn't living in mortal fear of her latent inhuman gene. But Luna's got a plan. All she needs is an Omni-Wave Projector. That is, until a red-scaled beast is teleported from the prehistoric past to a far-flung future we call...today! Together they're the most Marvelous Team-Up of all! But will they be BFFs forever, or just until DD's dinner time?"

Our other book is QUINCREDIBLE Vol 1. by Rodney Barnes. "Quinton West is a high school sophomore struggling to navigate the treacherous world of adolescence. Bullied and in the midst of an unrequited crush, Quin dreams of becoming a superhero. The "the event" changed everything. Suddenly, Quin is gifted with the enhanced ability of invulnerability and soon finds that being a hero is an easier dream than reality."

This is a live Zoom program and the link will be sent to registered participants an hour before the event.
