Join podcasters and legend-seekers Charlie Mewshaw and Michael G. Williams for a discussion of their project, Arcane Carolinas. The pair explore the historical context and lore around the Carolinas' legends, ghost stories, and modern tales from off the beaten path. Arcane Carolinas is intended to be an accessible, informative, and fun exploration of these topics and tales. See their website for more information (https://www.arcanecarolinas.com/).

Michael G. Williams is an award-winning novelist who strives to present the humor and humanity at the heart of horror and mystery with stories of outcasts and loners finding their people. His role on Arcane Carolinas is generally that of the more mystically inclined and occult-oriented exploration of the episode’s topic. As a practicing folklorist, Michael is also enrolled in the Appalachian Studies program at Appalachian State University. His horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy can be found at Falstaff Books (http://falstaffbooks.com) or his personal site (https://michaelgwilliamsbooks.com).

Charlie is a fan of exploring, spooky stories, and history. His role on Arcane Carolinas often taps into his Natural Resource Science degree and training, leading him off into the woods in search of monsters, aliens, and ghosts. The adventures often end with examination of legends from a scientific or historically demonstrable perspective.

You can find Arcane Carolinas on their website arcanecarolinas.com AND on YouTube, IG, Twitter, facebook, and Patreon.
