Cooking has a magical way of creating connection and community. Join us for a teen cooking class, where we’ll learn how to make spring vegetable dumplings* and talk about what healing and community means to us. This cooking class is inspired by abolition, which imagines a world without prisons and policing. What are the practices that allow you to feel cared for and safe? As we cook together, we’ll share our stories and visions for what creating community safety looks like.
*This recipe is vegetarian and is *not* gluten free.
For teens ages 15-19*
