Join us every second Tuesday to learn about resources in Durham County for small businesses and entrepreneurs. This informal roundtable will allow business owners (and those who aspire!) to connect with others and provide a network of support. 

This month Kate Wiggins will be discussing the Small Business Center at Durham Tech.  The Small Business Center (SBC) at Durham Tech provides startup and existing entrepreneurs (for profit and nonprofit) with the information and tools needed to develop business ideas to become viable, sustainable, profitable, and successful. Through the services provided by the SBC, entrepreneurs receive assistance with several business areas including, but not limited to, business planning, marketing, legal, accounting, and financial management.

Kate Wiggins is the coordinator for Small Business Services, within the Center for Workforce Development at Durham Tech. She has 14 years of entrepreneurial experience and has taught business & entrepreneurship at Montana State University for four years. She has a BS in Business Administration from UNC, an MA from the University of Mississippi, and a lifelong passion for small business.
