Love reading stories from diverse authors? Do you find yourself seeking out books with a diverse array of characters and experiences? Join the Colorful Reads book club, where we will read different fiction books every month that are from diverse authors and feature characters with varied identities, orientations, and backgrounds. New members are always welcome! Light refreshments will be provided!

The book for September is Upright Women Wanted by Sarah Gailey.

Image Description: Along the left upright side of the book (going top to bottom) is a sideways silhouette of a Western scene, including people standing in dresses and cowboy hats, horses and cactuses. Above them are thick, white clouds. The title "Upright Women Wanted" is laid over the top of the image in red letters. The author's name is situated between the title. At the very top it says "Are you a coward or are you a librarian?" and at the bottom it says "From the author of Magic for Liars".
