Join educator Chi Vo and the Durham County Library STEAM Team for a FREE in-depth class series on design thinking, 3D modeling, and 3D printing for 5th and 6th graders.
Saturdays 1 to 2:30pm
September 10th, 17th, 24th and October 1st, 8th
Participants must attend all sessions
- Participant’s 3D model and a certificate of completion will be presented during the final session
- Snacks provided
- Laptops provided for all students, but you are welcome to bring your own
This deep dive class series will cover the following topics:
- Develop an understanding of how 3D printers work/ Desarrollar un entendimiento de cómo funcionan las impresoras 3D
- Solve engineering challenges/ Resolver problemas de ingeniería
- Use software to create & design/ Utilizar software para crear y diseñar
- Create 3D printable objects/ Crear objetos 3D imprimibles
- Print your 3D objects!/ Imprima sus objetos 3D!
