Colorful Reads Book Club

Love reading stories from diverse authors? Do you find yourself seeking out books with a diverse array of characters and experiences? Join the Colorful Reads book club, where we will read different fiction books every month that are from diverse authors and feature characters with varied identities, orientations, and backgrounds. New members are always welcome! Light refreshments will be provided!

This January we are reading Detransition, Baby | Durham County Library | BiblioCommons (available as a physical book and as an e-book on Libby).

Image Description: In a colorful background of green and yellow, mutiple drawn faces are layered on top of one another. They all have one eye, yellow with a pink iris, open, while the other eye is closed. Over top the background is the title of the book, "Detransition, Baby" and the author's name, Torrey Peters.
