Testers & Tasters Cookbook Club is a place to talk about food and cooking!
Come share your experiments, experiences, triumphs, and tragedies.
Each month we highlight a theme, ingredient, or cookbook and encourage everyone to prepare a dish to share and discuss. If you don't get a chance to cook a themed dish come join us anyway! In October we plan to meet in person, but if you prefer you can Zoom in instead.
For our meeting on Tuesday, October 11, it's all about SQUASH! This time of year we see so many of the winter varieties in our grocery stores, but summer squash dishes are also welcome. Savory or sweet; main dish, side, or snack; you choose! And don't forget that pumpkin is a squash; maybe this would be a good time to test out a new pie recipe.
There will be an assortment of cookbooks available for browsing at North Regional Library, but you can choose a recipe from any book or other source.
When you know what you'll be bringing, please email the name and source to etobias@dconc.gov.
If you'll be joining us via Zoom, please take pictures of the process and the finished product and email them to etobias@dconc.gov. If you're coming to the library, bring your prepared dish and any needed serving utensils. Plates, napkins, and silverware will be provided.
