Testers & Tasters Cookbook Club is a place to talk about food and cooking!

Come share your experiments, experiences, triumphs, and tragedies.

Each month we highlight a theme, ingredient, or cookbook and encourage everyone to prepare a dish to share and discuss. If you don't get a chance to cook a themed dish come join us anyway! 

On November 30 we'll meet for a cookie swap and soup lunch! At this time of year our thoughts often turn to cookies and other shareable sweets, and it's nice to have some on hand when friends and family are visiting. Please bring a batch of the homemade cookie of your choice, preferably a type that keeps well or can be frozen. You may divide them into portions for sharing if you like. Non-cookie treats are also welcome, such as brittles, barks, or candied fruits. Please bring a homemade soup or bread as well for our lunch at the library. You can use old favorite recipes if you choose, but we encourage testing out recipes that are new to you!

There will be an assortment of cookbooks available for browsing at North Regional Library, but you can choose a recipe from any book or other source.

When you know what you'll be bringing, please email the name and source to etobias@dconc.gov.

Plates, bowls, napkins, and silverware will be provided.
