The Booth Siblings

Challenging you to think about what makes a good neighbor, Hickstown from the Heart, is a memoir about the historic Crest Street Community, formerly known as Hickstown.

Join the Booth siblings, the children of Mildred "Ma" Booth and William Booth, as they share stories, that make you laugh and cry, about growing up in this neighborhood near Duke University.

"The siblings do a great job of making the reader feel like they are actually getting to visit Hickstown themselves. They introduce you to the colorful neighbors who range from the quiet and caring to the bold and eccentric." -Val Blanding Clark
