 Patrons!\n\nCan you out-design the library staff?\n\nDurham County Library 
 is throwing down the design gauntlet — and we want YOU to pick it 
 up.\n\nWe're calling all artists\, creators\, hobbyists\, and design 
 daredevils to enter the Library Fest 2026 Logo Contest. This year’s theme 
 is "The Stories That Built Us" — and your design could be the face of it 
 all.\n\n💥 Staff vs. Patrons 💥\nWe’re putting our staff’s designs 
 into the ring\, but we know this community is full of talent. Can you 
 outshine the librarians? There’s only one way to find out.\n\n\n🔧 THE 
 CHALLENGE:\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\n\n	\n	Create a logo that reflects the 
 theme "Library Fest 2026: The Stories That Built Us"\n	\n	\n	Include that 
 full phrase in the design\n	\n	\n	Non-digital submissions will have to be 
 digitized for use if selected\n	\n	\n	Willingness to edit design as needed 
 for marketing\n	\n	\n	Submit by August 15\, 2025\n	\n	\n	Email high-res 
 designs to choltzmann@dconc.gov\, or drop them off at any Durham Library 
 front desk\n	\n\n\nAbout the theme: The U.S. will commemorate the 250th 
 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—an opportunity to reflect 
 on the nation's past\, honor the contributions of its people\, and shape a 
 better future for generations to come.\n\n\n🏆 THE 
 REWARD:\n\n\n	\n	Winning design becomes the official logo of Library Fest 
 2026\n	\n	\n	Featured on all merch\, promos\, and swag\n	\n	\n	Plus: 
 Bragging rights for life\n	\n\n\n\n🔍 Want the extra challenge?\n\nTake 
 on our bonus design guidelines\n\n\n	Minimum file resolution must be 150 
 dpi.\n	Minimum logo size must be 6”x6” when submitted.\n	Vector file 
 with separate layers for elements\, if possible.\n	Design with transparent 
 background.\n	No photos included within design.\n	.eps and/or .png file 
 preferred.\n	No copyrighted elements can be included within the 
 design.\n	All logo elements need to be original creations or free/public 
 use – including any fonts used. Full commercial use versus personal 
 use.\n	Make sure that the logo is original – no existing logos were 
 copied for the submitted design.\n\n\n\n🔥 Who will rise? Who will reign?
