Testers & Tasters Cookbook Club is a place to talk about food and cooking!
Come share your experiments, experiences, triumphs, and tragedies.
Each month we highlight a theme, ingredient, or cookbook and encourage everyone to prepare a dish to share and discuss.
This month's theme is CITRUS! Endlessly versatile, always delicious, and easily available, citrus fruits bring a lift to any recipe. You can use the whole fruit or any part: pulp, peel, juice, zest, oil. The citrus can provide the main flavor, or serve a supporting role.
There will be a citrus-focused cookbook available for browsing at the North Regional Library information desk, but you can get your recipe from any cookbook or other source.
When you know what you'll be bringing, please email the name and source to etobias@dconc.gov.
Plates, napkins, and silverware will be provided, as well as water, coffee, and tea. Bring your mug!
And don't forget some containers because there are usually leftovers to take home.
